Geniatech Showcases RISC-V Innovations at 2024 RISC-V Summit China
The 2024 RISC-V Summit China, one of the world’s top three RISC-V events, recently took place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Now in its fourth year, the summit featured a blend of main conference sessions, technical seminars, exhibitions, and concurrent activities, drawing over 100 domestic and international enterprises, research institutions, and open-source communities, with more than 3,000 industry professionals in attendance.
On August 22nd, Mr. Fang, CEO of Geniatech, delivered a keynote speech on the “Application of RISC-V in Industrial IoT.” He discussed Geniatech’s advancements in applying RISC-V technology within the industrial IoT sector and introduced an open IoT gateway based on the StarFive JH7110. This solution is designed to meet the industry’s need for stable, reliable, and secure products, offering a mature and robust option for industrial IoT applications.
Geniatech’s open IoT gateway, built on the JH7110 platform, adheres to industrial-grade standards and features an IP65 protection level, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The gateway’s fully open hardware and software architecture allows for extensive customization, enabling users to modify antenna configurations, design RF modules, and support mainstream IoT protocols such as ZigBee, LoRa, Z-Wave, BLE, and Wi-Fi. Additionally, it is compatible with the Raspberry Pi ecosystem and supports applications like OpenHUB, HomeAssistant, and Node-RED, as well as major cloud platforms including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Siemens, Honeywell, Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent. This versatility makes it suitable for various sectors, including intelligent manufacturing, energy management, healthcare, industrial automation, smart transportation, and agriculture.
